Trail Head Directions

From Exit 39 off route 8 (intersection of route 8 and route 6), head east on route 6 towards Plymouth and Terryville. At 3.0 miles from route 8, in Terryville, take a right onto South Main Street. At .1 miles, just past the factory, take a right onto South Eagle. At a "T" intersection, take a right continuing on South Eagle. At 1.3 miles from route 6, come to intersection of Town Hill road and Magnolia road, continue on South Eagle road. Road ends a South Main Street (1 mile from Town Hill and 2.4 miles from route 6). Take a left onto South Main Street and take your next right onto Lake Hill road. Continue .1 miles on Lake Hill road to a small parking area on the right. You will see blue blazes and "Nature Conservancy" signs.

Hiking Directions

From the small parking area, follow the blue blazes back into the woods. This is the Matatuck trail. You will soon cross a wooden bridge over a gully, the falls a just ahead. The falls a a very short walk from the parking area.
